Ginger Tea (Chai Zanjabeel)
January 23, 2010 • Category: Beverages
A delicious tea made with simply a piece of ginger. I have been drinking gallons of it this week to help me with a cold. Ginger is supposed to help with nausea and a host of other problems.
It is so easy to make a pot of ginger tea. Peel and cut in small pieces a two-inch piece of ginger. Add to a pint of boiling water and steep for at least 10 minutes. Strain and drink with a bit of honey.

Hopefully it worked, but honestly, I don’t like ginger tea, lol. My mom has always been trying to force it down my throat!

In China, we also cook ginger tea to keep out the cold!
Stay warm! Some peppery noodle soup would do you good too!

When I am sick, somehow ginger makes me feel better, if only for a few minutes! I also love African style cold ginger drinks in the summer, so delicious.
